    Pre-K pounds the pavement

    Staff and volunteers knocked on doors in the community to let people that the pre-K application kicked off this week. (Watch a video) 

    T.G. Terry scores the win

    T.G. Terry Elementary School won NCAA’s Read to the Final Four contest after students logged the most reading minutes outside of school. (See photos)

    Ellie the Elephant

    Ellie the Elephant, a realistic looking animatronic robot elephant that talks, taught Dan D. Rogers Elementary students about how some animals are poorly treated in captivity. (Learn more)

    SOC students head to Microsoft

    South Oak Cliff Collegiate Academy students enjoyed an inspirational trip to the Microsoft Campus as part of the 2017 Minority Student Day. (Read this)

    Super scholars recognized

    The Dallas ISD Scholars recognition program honored stellar students for academic achievement at Ellis Davis Field House. (Learn more)

    Stars on the Rise

    The Greater Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and Dadllas ISD kicked off the donation period for the Stars on the Rise Scholarship Program, which helps make college possible for deserving students. (Donate to the scholarship)
