Rotary Club of Dallas invites teacher nominations for Service Above Self Awards

The Rotary Club of Dallas is accepting teacher nominations for its annual Service Above Self Awards through April 14.

The awards recognize teachers who strive to make a positive difference in the lives of others and who go above and beyond the call of duty. Teachers may self-nominate, and community members may nominate deserving teachers.

Winning recipients each receive a customized engraved plaque, an American flag which has been flown over the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C. in their name provided through the office of Dallas Congressman Pete Sessions, and a cash award from the Club. The teacher awards are funded by an anonymous endowment established with the Dallas Rotary Club Foundation. The proceeds from the investment of the endowment are used to fund the annual awards.
