The Administration postponed the meeting after receiving an estimate of $2.2 million for a special October election. Instead, the Administration will present options for the Board to consider calling a Tax Ratification Election or Tax Swap on November 7, the Uniform Election date. The cost of the November election is anticipated to be no more that $750,000. Grant to help district’s newest Transformation School successfully open in 2018
0A $215,000 planning grant from NewSchools Venture Fund will help Dallas ISD’s newest Transformation School prepare to successfully open in August 2018. Ignite Middle School (name pending board approval) will be a brand new Personalized Learning Campus that will open next school year, with the upcoming school year serving as a crucial planning year.
