0Because Dallas ISD offers free meals to all its students, all families are eligible to receive the Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT), a one-time benefit provided by the State of Texas for eligible families to buy food. Seventy-two graduating seniors awarded $180,000 in Superintendent’s Scholarships
0Seventy-two outstanding graduating seniors have earned a total of $180,000 Dallas ISD Superintendent’s Scholarships. Each recipient receives $2,500 to go toward costs at the college or university of their choice. Selection for the Superintendent’s Scholarship Program is based on need, character, grades, recommendations and the promise of future success. The scholarships are funded with proceeds from the annual Superintendent’s Golf Tournament. Brighter Bites to distribute 750 fresh produce boxes on Thursday mornings at eight schools
0In addition to the district providing a week’s worth of bulk grab-and-go meals at nearly 40 schools, Brighter Bites are distributing an additional 750 fresh produce boxes between 10 a.m.–1 p.m. at eight schools every Thursday.
