New universal student badge system

0
By The Hub on June 11, 2026 News Briefs

Dallas ISD is launching a universal student badge system for all students for the 2026–2027 school year.

Printed directly on each campus, the new ID badges will feature a consistent district-wide design customized with individual school mascots. Campuses will be provided with all necessary equipment and supplies, including lanyards and ID badge cards.

While Dallas ISD has always required student badges on campus, this new universal badge simply combines multiple student services into one easy-to-use ID for transportation, meals, library checkouts, and athletic events, helping streamline operations and enhance campus security.

For more information, families and staff are encouraged to contact their school’s main office.
