National School Counseling Week 2022, sponsored by the American School Counselor Association, is February 7–11 and highlights the tremendous impact school counselors have in helping students achieve school success.

Dallas ISD’s 435 counselors partner with parents, teachers, administrators, and other district staff to enhance students’ academic, career, and social and emotional development.

School counselors are certified, experienced educators with a master’s degree in school counseling. The combination of their training and experience makes them an integral part of the total educational program.
