The Cal Ripken Sr. Foundation and Niagara Cares volunteers renovated Lincoln High School’s weight room and auxiliary weight room, added new flooring to the faculty fitness space, and cleaned, purchased and assembled new equipment and storage throughout all three fitness areas at a cost of $75,000.
Additionally, they purchased technology and furniture to equip STEM Labs at Boude Storey Middle School (valued at $30,663), Sarah Zumwalt Middle School ($30,663), and W.M. Young Elementary School ($22,117). Workers and staff at Lincoln and Storey Boude assembled some of the new equipment.
