Dallas ISD mask protocol update following Gov. Abbott May 18 announcement

By The Hub on May 18, 2021 Headlines

Gov. Greg Abbott on May 18 announced that public schools and district facilities cannot require masks starting June 5. Until that time, Dallas ISD will continue requiring masks be worn at schools and district facilities.  After June 5, everyone is highly encouraged to continue wearing masks inside schools, on buses, and all district facilities, as an added measure of safety for all.

Dallas ISD remains committed to continue following social distancing and sanitation protocols and will make every effort to offer services like student and staff vaccinations, as resources become available. We will continue studying best practices in the coming weeks and will share updates with our students, staff and families.
