Types and safety of vaccines
Three vaccines have received emergency approval from the FDA for distribution in the United States: Pfeizer-BioNTech, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson/Janssen. All three COVID-19 vaccines have been declared safe and effective by health experts and millions of people have already received COVID-19 vaccines under the most intense safety monitoring in U.S. history. The CDC recommends you get a COVID-19 vaccine as soon as you are eligible. For more information about each of the vaccines, visit the CDC page or read the blog in which experts talk about vaccine safety.
