Dallas ISD Reading Language Arts and Library Media Services–in partnership with Bouchercon, World Mystery Convention–is hosting the “It’s a Mystery” Writing Contest.

The purpose of this contest is to recognize the talent of Dallas ISD students in grades 6–11 by spotlighting their creativity. The top three winners from each grade section (6th/7th, 8th/9th, and 10th/11th) will receive cash prizes, as well as recognition at the Bouchercon literary gala on Oct. 30. Manuscripts are due June 1, 2019 and can be written in English or Spanish.
