Trustee Spotlight: Audrey Pinkerton

Audrey Pinkerton was elected to her first term on the Dallas ISD Board of Trustees in May 2016 to represent District 7, which includes 31 schools in Oak Cliff, West Dallas, and Cockrell Hill.

Pinkerton attended Dallas ISD schools and graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering with honors from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Business Administration summa cum laude from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management.

Pinkerton worked as an engineer before moving into executive management roles at several major manufacturing corporations, leading underperforming business units to success. She currently owns a commercial construction firm.
