Students and staff – including two past principals – of the School of Health Professions at Yvonne A. Ewell Townview Center celebrated the school’s 2016 National Blue Ribbon on Tuesday, Nov. 15.

The event included words from Principal LaSandra Sanders; former principal Dr. Myrtle Walker; and other district and city officials. The Townview “Big D” band performed along with drill team members, and the event culminated in cake and ice cream for everyone.

This year, 329 schools received the National Blue Ribbon recognition, including Dallas ISD’s Dealey Montessori and Dealey International Academy.
