WFAA: Dallas ISD to start choice school with socioeconomic diversity

WFAA ran a great story on the Solar Preparatory School for Girls, a single-gender choice school opening this year.

The school will be a socioeconomic and racially-diverse school campus, said Mike Koprowski, chief of transformation and innovation. Led by Principal Nancy Bernardino, the campus will open in August to nearly 200 female scholars in grades K-2 and will add one grade level, each year through eighth-grade.
