Parents of children who attend Harry Withers Elementary were eager to share the benefits of their children attending pre-kindergarten.

Hillary Verver, one such parent, said pre-K has introduced her child to what school is and has allowed her to socialize with other children.

Meanwhile, Valina Hill, another parent, said pre-K has helped her child connect better with her siblings and develop a passion for learning a language.

Research shows that children who attend pre-K are more likely to graduate. Dallas ISD is hosting Pre-K Registration Week April 6-11, 2015. Parents can enroll their child who meets eligibility requirements at their local elementary school.
