Dallas ISD students who are U.S. citizens and will be 18-years-old on election day, Nov. 3, are reminded that the deadline to register to vote in Texas is fast approaching. The good news is it’s easy to get registered. All Dallas ISD high school students are invited to register for the free upcoming ACT and SAT boot camps! The ACT 101 Boot Camps will be held virtually on Sept. 26 and Oct. 3. In order to raise awareness on the link between school attendance and academic achievement, Dallas ISD is hosting the national September Attendance Awareness Month with a focus on reducing chronic absenteeism to give all students an equitable opportunity to learn, grow and thrive academically, emotionally and socially.
