Dallas ISD Stories is a new Hub series where district students, teachers and staff share their own stories. My ultimate goal is to go to medical school and become a cardiac surgeon or cardiologist, so I love getting a head start at the School of Health Professions. It’s Thursday morning, and J.L. Long Middle School dual language teacher Susan Moreno is noticeably stunned as an auditorium full of news cameras, students, Dallas ISD and state leaders suddenly turn their attention to her.
