Dallas ISD is committed to providing ongoing academic, social and emotional support to students during the time schools are closed due to the coronavirus outbreak. Students and parents can reach a professional school counselor through the Request for Counseling Services links below. A member of the identified school counseling team will respond to requests for assistance. Parents, guardians and staff who want to request the services of a school counselor in English should complete the request for counseling services form at https://forms.gle/5m3gS85ErHjzUPbh7.

Starting on Monday, March 23, meals will be distributed on Mondays and Thursdays from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at the entrance of selected schools while the district remains closed. Go here to see a current list of the schools. Please note, this list will likely be updated before Monday, March 23. Each Monday and Thursday, FCNS will provide several days of breakfast and lunch per student. The students need to accompany the parents to be eligible to pick up the meals. Dallas ISD is committed to keeping families up to date with information on COVID-19, as we receive guidance from Dallas County Health and Human Services (DCHHS). Effective immediately, district events and activities are canceled until further notice. This includes UIL events, athletics, field trips, after-school programs and other campus activities. It will be a regular school day tomorrow, Friday, March 13. After-school care will be provided on March 13. Please continue to check www.dallasisd.org/COVID19 for updates.

The Dallas ISD STEM-Computer Science and Technology Department and Ann Richards Middle School hosted the VEX IQ MS State Robotics Championship on Feb. 29. At the VEX State Championships, the following schools advanced to the VEX Robotics World Championship being held in Kentucky.
