Dallas ISD is seeking community feedback regarding the district’s current website, dallasisd.org, to assist with a web redesign.  To ensure families, team members, and the community are involved in the decision-making process, two community meetings have been scheduled to allow families the chance to provide feedback in a face-to-face setting.  The first meeting will be at Franklin D. Roosevelt High School of Innovation at 6 p.m. on Oct. 17. Savannah V., 13-year-old athlete and a Rosemont student since kindergarten, will be showing her exceptional talent and deep-rooted connection to her Hispanic heritage on the field in October when she represents Mexico at the WBSC U-15 Women’s Softball World Cup in Tokyo, Japan. With the theme “Level Up with School Lunch,” Dallas ISD is celebrating National School Lunch Week Oct. 9-13 to highlight the importance of healthy school lunches to a student’s success in and out of the classroom. National School Lunch Week began in 1962 to promote the National School Lunch Program (NSLP).
