0We are so proud of the hard work and dedication put in by our district teams during last week’s first round of UIL Football Playoffs. Of the nine teams, we now have two Dallas ISD high school football teams – Carter and South Oak Cliff – who have reached the area round of playoffs. Discover Dallas ISD goes virtual
0Dallas ISD offers families more than 100 specialty programs and schools in addition to great neighborhood schools. The time to decide which one is the best fit for your child is now, and we are here to help. Judge Louis A. Bedford, Jr. Law Academy renaming marks the start of a new era
0Students, staff and community members gathered to celebrate the renaming of the former William Hawley Atwell Law Academy Saturday, Nov. 12. The school was officially renamed in honor of Louis Bedford, the first Black judge to serve in Dallas County. This milestone celebration featured remarks from two of Bedford’s children, Angela Bedford Walker and Louis A.
