Dallas ISD Trustees approve base school calendar for the next two school years
0The Dallas ISD Board of Trustees has approved the 2023-24 and 2024-25 base school calendars. A survey was sent to families and Dallas ISD team members to seek input on how the calendar should be structured. An additional survey was sent in January to ask families and team members if they would prefer to start school after Tax-Free Weekend. Approximately 77% requested the start date be moved to the Monday after Tax-Free Weekend. Board of Trustees approve tuition-based Pre-K rate for the 2023-24 school year
0At the March 23 board meeting, Dallas ISD’s Board of Trustees approved the full-day Pre-K tuition rate of $5,000 per year, per child ($500 per month) and half-day Pre-K tuition rate of $2,500 per year, per child ($250 per month) for the Pre-K tuition-based program. The tuition-based before and after-care program rate was approved at $1,250 per year, per child. These tuition-based programs are for three- and four-year-old children not eligible for free Pre-K.
