Dallas ISD holds Secure Start Celebration for student-parents
0Amidst the challenges and joys of parenthood, Dallas ISD recently hosted a districtwide event to welcome and bring together student-parents to learn, and support one another. Organized by the Student Engagement and Support department, the Secure Start Celebration allowed students to meet face-to-face and connect over their shared experiences. Guests also played games, enjoyed a special meal catered by Skyline High School, and took home a variety of prizes like gift cards, baby wipes, diapers, and a few big-ticket items such as a stroller, car seat, and a crib. 0With the touch of their fingertips, Dallas ISD’s young learners will soon embark on virtual journeys through the jungle, dive into the depths of the sea, and voyage through outer space. Four Dallas ISD high schools earn top 10 ranking in Texas
0For the second year in a row, Dallas ISD high schools earned the top three spots in Texas, according to the latest U.S. News & World Report’s 2024 Best High Schools rankings. Additionally, eight schools ranked in the top 50 in Texas. Out of 17,655 nationally-ranked schools and nearly 2,000 schools ranked in Texas, the School for the Talented and Gifted at Yvonne A.
