0As an educational institution, student safety is the top priority of Dallas ISD. Recently, allegations were made that Dallas ISD does not have completed background checks for all employees. Upon learning of the allegations, the district immediately initiated its own review of the fingerprinting and background check records. 0The Dallas Independent School District is seeking input from parents and community members through a survey launched today as it explores opening 35 additional public choice schools and programs by 2020. Beginning Sept. 24, the school choice survey will be available for the next month via the main page of the Dallas ISD website at www.dallasisd.org.
