Reilly Elementary teacher honored with statewide recognition
0Maria-Elena Pacheco, a kindergarten teacher at Martha Turner Reilly Elementary earned the Elementary Teacher of the Year award by the Texas PTA. Texas PTA is one the largest child advocacy organizations in the state. The organization grants the 2020 Outstanding Educator of the Year Award to five outstanding educators statewide. For Pacheco, it was an honor to get nominated. She has worked at Reilly Elementary for the last 13 years and with Dallas ISD since 1995. Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation and Niagara Cares Provide over 700 STEM Kits to Dallas ISD schools
0The Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation and Niagara Cares donated kits of STEM activities and school supplies to 725 elementary school students. The philanthropic foundations pledged to provide a STEM Center at both Rufus C. Burleson Elementary and Nancy J. Cochran Elementary.
