0Three North Texas school districts in Texas have been chosen to partner with The Holdsworth Center, a nonprofit organization founded by H-E-B Chairman Charles Butt. Cedar Hill, Dallas and Garland ISDs have been selected for a five-year, $18 million strategic partnership that helps districts grow their own bench of strong, skilled leaders who create conditions in which teachers thrive and all students get what they need to succeed. Cheryl Nevels: 25 years advocating for Dallas children
0A deep desire to advocate for children, a family legacy in education, and a lifetime of support in the classroom and at home are a few attributes which led Cheryl Nevels to join Dallas ISD almost 25 years ago. Cheryl started her distinguished career as a teacher within a struggling community, where she received recognition for consistently prioritizing her students.
