Students who plan to attend a college or university during the 2023–2024 academic year can request funds to pay for higher education costs by submitting two forms: Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the Texas Application for State Financial Aid (TASFA). Two Dallas ISD schools selected for Exhibit of School Architecture
0The Texas Association of School Administrators (TASA) and Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) selected Jill Stone Elementary School at Vickery Meadow and Nathaniel Hawthorne Elementary School as projects for the 2022-23 Exhibit of School Architecture. TASA and TASB announced that 55 projects will be included in this exhibit of new and renovated Texas school facilities, which includes projects from 36 school districts and two colleges that were submitted by 16 architectural firms. 0The Texas Art Education Association (TAEA) awarded the 2022 District of Distinction Award to Dallas ISD for the second year in a row. This renowned high school magnet program, formerly known as School of Business and Management at Yvonne A. Ewell Townview Center, was named after the late Dr. Marvin E. Robinson.
