Over the past several months, Dallas ISD has been asking parents and community members to weigh in on the types of schools they want to see created in the district through an online bilingual survey. Nearly 3,700 individuals voiced their opinions, which included parents of students both in and out of the district, parents of below school-aged children, and community members. TDI por sus siglas en inglés, es la iniciativa de evaluación para los maestros en Dallas ISD que entró en efecto al principio del año escolar 2014-2015. El propósito es desarrollar a los maestros en un fuerza de enseñanza de primera clase en el país. Hay un promedio de dos a tres expertos de TDI en cada escuela que forman parte de un panel de 224 escuelas.
