Dallas ISD schools will be closed for the remainder of the school year.

Gov. Greg Abbott announced on April 17 that public and private schools will remain closed for the rest of the school year to help combat the spread of COVID-19. Abbott said he made the decision based on advice of doctors and health officials.

While school buildings are closed, students’ education continues through at-home learning. Dallas ISD now offers at-home learning lessons in seven different languages. Go here to learn more about at-home learning.
