Rosemont Elementary School Nurse Adriana Mariscal was honored as the Dallas ISD Health Services Employee of the Year at the Health Services Recognition Celebration on May 8.

As usual, the celebration coincided with National School Nurse Day and honored school nurses across Dallas ISD who ensure students are healthy and ready to learn.

Dallas ISD Health Services Director Jennifer Finley presented certificates to nurses who successfully completed the two-year School Nurse Clinical Development program. The ceremony also recognized Health Services retirees and presented Years of Service Pins.

Donors such as Love in Motion provided appreciation gifts.
