On Friday, Feb. 2, students at Dallas ISD’s Jerry Junkins Elementary School got a real kick out of a recent donation.
The school has a new soccer field thanks to a $5,000 Lowe’s Toolbox for Education grant. After an official ribbon-cutting, students took turns playing each other on the new field. Carrollton firefighters from a station near the school stopped by to show their support.
