    PREP U to offer free immunizations, health screenings to South Oak Cliff area students

    Parents and students in the South Oak Cliff area and feeder pattern can receive free blood pressure, vision and glucose tests, immunizations for eligible children (two months through 18 years of age), and free glasses for students in kindergarten through eighth grade during the Celebrate South Oak Cliff Prep U Super Saturday.

    The event is happening Saturday, May 14 from 9 a.m.–noon at South Oak Cliff High School, 3601 S. Marsalis Ave.

    In addition to free health screenings, parents and students can enjoy free food and drinks, giveaways, face painting and more. To receive free immunizations, eligible children must bring complete immunization records and be accompanied by an adult.

    South Oak Cliff area schools include:

    • South Oak Cliff High School
    • Boude Storey Middle School
    • Sarah Zumwalt Middle School
    • Barbara Jordan Elementary School
    • H.I. Holland Elementary School at Lisbon
    • Clara Oliver Elementary School
    • Clinton P. Russell Elementary School
    • Thomas L. Marsalis Elementary School
    • Robert L. Thornton Elementary School
    • W.W. Bushman Elementary School
    • Elisha M. Pease Elementary School
    • Whitney M. Young Jr. Elementary School
