The Skyline High School girls basketball team hit the court in a “business as usual” fashion this week in preparation for the program’s first appearance in the state tournament.

What makes this opportunity so special is that after a 28-year career at the helm of the team’s basketball program, Coach Cassandra McCurdy will get her first shot at a state hoops title.

Skyline will play Flower Mound on Friday, March 6, at 7 p.m. The game will be at the Alamodome in San Antonio.

Tickets are available for purchase through Ticket Master. General tickets at $12 per person. All-tournament passes are available for $75 per person. Children under the age of two are free.
