Education Week: Students gain from math summer learning

Mike Miles, superintendent for the Dallas Independent School District, weighs in on the perks of investing in summer math programs in an article posted by Education Week blog. A recent study by The RAND Corporation study, known as the National Summer Learning Project, provides data from the first summer of a six-year, randomized controlled trial of programs in Boston; Dallas; Duval County, Florida; Pittsburgh and Rochester, New York.
