Dallas ISD representatives are holding block parties at seven apartment complexes in Oak Cliff in May and June. Since 2015, Dallas ISD educator Roderick Goudy has worked at mastering the Toastmaster skills of public speaking and leadership, delivering speeches and taking on leadership roles in Dallas ISD Talk It Up! Toastmasters Club and at the Toastmasters’ district level as an area director, training facilitator, and mentor. Goudy credits lessons learned in Toastmasters for helping to propel him several rungs up the professional career ladder in Dallas ISD. The Woodrow Wilson High School Community Foundation announced today that 25 graduating high school seniors have been awarded Foundation scholarships commencing in the fall of 2019. “The Woodrow Wilson High School Community Foundation is proud to continue in our tradition of assisting children graduating from Woodrow Wilson High School to achieve their academic and career goals,” said Richard H. The students and teachers of J.N. Ervin Elementary will immediately notice several improvements to their campus when they come back from the summer break.
