As the only girl who’s on the electrical construction pathway at Wilmer-Hutchins High School, Odalys P. is both a rarity and inspiration on her campus. She will continue her education at the University of North Texas with plans to pursue a degree in construction science or management and commission as an officer in the U.S. Navy or Army. “I hope that I can be an inspiration for another girl out there believing that you can actually do it,” Odalys said.
