Twenty-three Dallas ISD academies earn prestigious NAF achievement designation

Register online today for Dallas ISD pre-K
0Pre-K registration for the 2020-2021 school year is now open. Families can process their registration online at www.prekdallas.org. “The online registration system will be easy for families to navigate from any type of electronic device,” said Yesenia Ramirez Cardoza, Director of Early Learning. “Once they visit the page www.prekdallas.org, parents will need to click on the ‘registration’ icon and complete the process through the InfoSnap system. Dallas ISD to start providing about a week’s worth of grab-and-go meals once a week
0Dallas ISD remains committed to following the recommendations from the county and public health agencies, and in order to protect the health and safety of our families and staff, the district will now be distributing meals on Thursdays only. Students will be able to pick up about a week’s worth of breakfasts, lunches and dinners. Dallas ISD looks forward to continue serving our students with meal distributions every Thursday from 10 a.m.–1 p.m. Please visit www.dallasisd.org/grabandgomeals to identify the meals included in the bags for each day, as well as to get preparation directions. All Dallas ISD playgrounds are closed while city is under stay-at-home order
0All Dallas ISD playgrounds are closed while the city is under the stay-at-home order to help combat the coronavirus threat. Dallas ISD playgrounds join the city playgrounds in being shut down as part of the city’s stay-at-home order. Violating the city’s stay-at-home order carries a fine between $50-$2,000. People who see someone using a Dallas ISD playground while the city is under the stay-at-home order can contact the Dallas ISD hotline at 972-925-5555.
