From live streamed physical education activities to virtual music classes, the Dallas ISD Summer Enrichment webpage is keeping students engaged in a variety of fun, engaging ways over the summer.

“The goal is to provide programs that intersect with students’ passions so we can ignite their desire to learn, even over the summer months,” said Tim Linley, Executive Director of Academic Enrichment and Support. “We want to curate activities that connect with students through engaging opportunities for them to remain excited about learning.”

The webpage provides weekly virtual lessons and activities in a variety of topics:

  • Fun & Fitness
  • Choice Reading
  • Visual art
  • Music
  • Creative thinking
  • Dance
  • Musical theatre
  • Acting

Meanwhile, the webpage also provides recommended reading titles through Sora, the district’s electronic library, and live feeds from educators leading physical activities that students can do from home.
