Board approves pay incentive for substitutes

The Board of Trustees has approved a daily incentive for substitutes to address lower substitute fill rates that are a direct result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The additional $20 daily incentive is designed to increase fill rates and provide support to campuses during the spring semester. The $20-per-day incentive will be paid on top of any other incentives for substitutes. Substitutes will continue to receive the additional incentive of $5 for working on Mondays and $10 for working on Fridays. Substitutes working a full day of service at an ACE campus will also continue to receive the ACE $10-per-day incentive.…
