Report: Dallas ISD has the lowest teacher turnover rate in the DFW area
0Dallas ISD recently announced a teacher retention incentive for the 2022-2023 school year that ranges from $2,500 to $3,500, depending on the teacher’s effectiveness level. This incentive is one of the many initiatives Dallas ISD’s Human Capital Management has been implementing to retain and recruit the best staff for Dallas students. Dallas ISD’s Virtual STEM EXPO is set for Saturday, Jan. 22, 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. The free and virtual event will feature a great variety of exhibits, experiences in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math, and ways to have fun while children explore, design, build and create. Nearly 200 seniors participated in the district’s first-ever fall graduation ceremony tonight
0After a semester of hard work, ongoing monitoring, and counseling, 197 Dallas ISD students graduated from high school at the district’s first ever Fall Graduation ceremony. This event was the culminating stage of implementing the Reconnection Plus + program at comprehensive high schools. This initiative aims to provide an accelerated instructional plan for 5th year + seniors and students severely behind in credits. Each campus teacher of the year received a box stuffed with goodies and helpful items. Campuses recognized their campus teachers of the year in a variety of fun ways. The campus teachers of the year represent a broad mix of diversity and years of experience in the district.
