0Schools across Dallas ISD are honoring teaching excellence by introducing their extraordinary campus teachers of the year. These teachers represent a wide variety of diversity and years of experience in the district, and campuses are coming together to celebrate their passion and dedication to accelerating student success and achievement. These teachers have 11.6793 years of experience on average and a collective total of 2,768 years of experience. The South Oak Cliff Golden Bears are the only Dallas ISD football team still standing in the UIL Football Playoffs. In the Regional Semifinals of the UIL Football Playoffs, the reigning champs defeated the Midlothian Heritage Jaguars by a score of 33-27 to advance to the 5A Division II Region II Quarterfinals. 0We are so proud of the hard work and dedication put in by our district teams during last week’s first round of UIL Football Playoffs. Of the nine teams, we now have two Dallas ISD high school football teams – Carter and South Oak Cliff – who have reached the area round of playoffs. The defending 5A Division II State Champions, the South Oak Cliff Golden Bears, opened this year’s playoffs with a 12-7 victory over Mansfield Summit last Friday to set up a meeting with the Lucas Lovejoy Leopards.
