Starting Monday, June 1, Dallas ISD offices will begin operating on summer hours for the months of June and July. District offices will be open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and closed Friday. Additionally, Dallas ISD offices will be closed Wednesday, June 19, in recognition of Juneteenth, which is a federal holiday. The district will also be closed for summer break from June 29 through July 3. All central staff will return to work July 6. Additional resources are linked below. Dallas ISD Athletics delivered one of the most successful years in district history during the 2025-2026 school year, with its teams capturing six UIL state championships while earning statewide recognition for athletic excellence, leadership, and academic achievement. In December, the South Oak Cliff High School football team won its third state championship in five years, and head coach Jason Todd became the first Black head coach in Texas to win three state championships. Dallas ISD is bringing summer meals directly to the community with its Summer Food Bus Tour 2026, a mobile initiative designed to ensure children across Dallas have access to free, nutritious meals while school is out. The program provides no-cost meals for kids 18 and younger, and up to 21 years old for those with disabilities. Meals are served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and must be consumed on-site.
