La inspiración se pudo percibir por todos lados durante la competencia regional de Destination Imagination. Los estudiantes de Dallas ISD participaron con disfraces hechos en casa y hubo personajes coloridos junto con piezas hechas de cajas de varios colores, cinta adhesiva y tela suelta. The Dallas ISD Board of Trustees today selected JG Consulting and Walsh Gallegos as the firms to help the district in the community outreach and search process for the next superintendent of schools. Using one of America’s founding principles of democracy: debate, Dallas ISD students participated in the 4th Annual Mayor’s Cup Public Debate on February 15 at the Old Parkland Hospital Complex. The public debate was hosted by Dallas City Mayor Eric Johnson and the Dallas Urban Debate Alliance. Focusing on the importance of civil discourse to the city, businesses, and society, Mayor Johnson told the students and audience that healthy and rigorous debate helps all of us make reasonable decisions about the future. You didn’t have to look hard to find inspiration in everything at the Regional Destination Imagination Competition. Dallas ISD students showed up to compete in a sea of vibrant homemade costumes and props. Colorful characters collided with colossal set pieces made of multi-colored boxes, duct tape, and flowy fabric. La Semana Nacional de Consejeros Escolares de 2022, patrocinada por la Asociación Americana de Consejeros Escolares, es del 7 al 11 de febrero y destaca el gran impacto que tienen los consejeros escolares en ayudar a los estudiantes a lograr el éxito escolar. Los 435 consejeros de Dallas ISD colaboran con los padres, maestros, administradores y demás personal del distrito para mejorar el desarrollo académico, profesional, social y emocional de los estudiantes. Los consejeros escolares son educadores certificados con una maestría en consejería escolar. Su formación y experiencia los convierte en una parte fundamental del programa educativo.
