Dallas ISD’s Board of Trustees on Thursday received details regarding the district’s plan to enhance school safety. Chief of Dallas ISD Police John Lawton presented the comprehensive plan, which was created with the help of students, parents, staff, community members, and safety and security experts. “It takes all of us to keep our district safe,” said Lawton. “The incident in Uvalde increased the level of anxiety among our families. Dallas ISD celebró la ceremonia de graduación de verano para la generación de 2022 en Ellis Davis Field House el 9 de agosto. Aproximadamente 170 estudiantes de 25 preparatorias de Dallas ISD tuvieron la oportunidad de caminar por el escenario para recibir su diploma. Dallas ISD held a summer commencement ceremony – the last graduation for the class of 2022 – at Ellis Davis Field House on Aug. 9th. Approximately 170 students who graduated from 25 Dallas ISD high schools walked the stage. Dallas ISD Chief of School Leadership Tiffany Huitt opened the ceremony with a welcome speech.
