With a districtwide college acceptance rate of more than 90%, soon-to-be graduates are marking a strong year of scholarship and postsecondary success.
Leslie G.H. of W.T. White High School, Yasmin T. of Sunset High School, and Aaron G., of Woodrow Wilson High School, were named UT Impact Scholars, a highly selective, first-dollar scholarship that covers full tuition at the University of Texas at Austin. Only 100 students across Texas are chosen each year.

Across the district, students are also earning admission to some of the nation’s most selective universities.
Hillcrest High School’s Duaa H. was recently accepted to Harvard University, adding to an impressive list that includes Yale, Columbia, Cornell, and the University of Pennsylvania. Ruby C., a senior at School of Health Professions at Yvonne A. Ewell Townview Center was accepted to Yale, while Thomas Jefferson High School’s Alan O. was accepted to Brown.
Students are also being recognized with major scholarships.
Tierra H. from Bryan Adams High School Leadership Academy earned the Babson Enrico Scholarship, a full ride to Babson College, ranked the No. 1 entrepreneurship college in the nation.
Kevin C. of Moisés E. Molina High School reflects the determination seen across the district. After immigrating to the United States at age 14, he became Academic Success Ambassador president, participated in multiple summer programs, and pursued advanced coursework. He applied early to the University of Michigan after discovering the campus through a college event and was accepted with a financial package leaving just $850 out of pocket.
Students are also pursuing a range of academic paths and interests.
Keimora H., a Bryan Adams senior, is headed to Middlebury College, where she will continue pursuing her passion for writing after finding her voice through poetry and UIL Ready Writing.
Students across the district are also gaining admission to top colleges and universities, including several U.S. News & World Report Top 100 Colleges and Universities, such as Baylor University, Boston College, the California Institute of Technology, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Rice University, and the University of Notre Dame.
As Dallas ISD seniors continue receiving decisions, their achievements underscore the district’s growing reputation for preparing students to thrive at the nation’s most selective institutions, and beyond.
