National School Choice Week is Jan. 24 – 29. This annual commemoration brings awareness to the abundance of K-12 school choice options available to students and families. Dallas ISD is proud to offer a variety of educational options to provide every child an effective, challenging, and motivating education. One of these choice options is our magnet school program.
Dallas ISD magnet schools are schools of choice that offer unique educational opportunities and experiences. Students have access to college preparatory courses and specialized thematic curricula that investigate and explore today’s career choices.
Magnet programs offer smaller learning communities, access to college preparatory courses and specialized curricula in today’s high-demand career choices.
Students can choose from an array of programs including visual arts, classes for the talented and gifted, leadership, STEM (science, technology, engineering, math), communications and much more.
The specialty programs prepare students to pursue academic options in a pathway based on students’ interests and learning styles.
Graduates of these schools go on to respected colleges and universities across the country and have emerged as leaders and innovators in their fields.
Dallas ISD’s magnet schools provide an array of high-quality, diverse programs for your scholar.
