Elrod’s Cost Plus, Post and P&G have teamed up once again to help deserving Dallas ISD students start the new school year off right.
From July 19–Aug. 31, shoppers can visit any Dallas Elrod’s Cost Plus to donate at checkout to the Dallas ISD Field Trip Fund. The suggested donation is $1, but all donations will be accepted. The fundraiser aims to support as many field trips as possible for Dallas ISD students. Last year the fundraiser drive raised enough to support 15 Dallas ISD schools.
Dallas ISD Volunteer and Partnerships Coordinator Veena Armstrong said businesses such as Elrod’s Cost Plus make Dallas ISD great.
“Our partnership with Elrod’s Cost Plus and the Field Trip Fund will allow our teachers to impact student achievement and enhance classroom learning through real-world learning experiences,” Armstrong said.
