The Playwrights Under Progress (PUP) Fest on Saturday will feature plays written and performed by Dallas ISD students.

Dallas ISD, Kitchen Dog Theater and Junior Players have joined together to host PUP Fest at Booker T. Washington High School for the Visual and Performing Arts. As part of the New Works Festival, Pup Fest will feature an afternoon of six world premiere staged readings written and performed by some of the Dallas-area’s finest high school talent.

“This is an incredible opportunity for some of our talented students to have their plays published and professionally produced,” said Rachel Harrah, director of Theatre and Dance for Dallas ISD.
