Dallas ISD has five teachers competing in the Dallas Mavericks Classroom Champions program.
The top five vote getters in the competition will receive $1,000 for themselves and $1,000 for their school.
The Dallas ISD teachers are:
Arleen Averill – Cigarroa Elementary
Claire Price – Stevens Park Elementary
Ruth Ortiz – Stevens Park Elementary
Shynise Stiff – L.V. Stockard Middle School
Yuridiana Lewis – Cary Middle School
Voting ends on April 30 at 11:59 pm. The winning teachers will be announced during Teacher Appreciation Week, which is May 1–5.
