    More than 60 seniors to each receive $2,500 Superintendent’s Scholarship

    More than 60 Dallas ISD seniors will each receive $2,500 scholarships to help make college a reality. The district awards the Superintendent’s Scholarship based on a student’s character, academic achievement and community service.

    Meanwhile, three other Dallas ISD seniors have received $10,000 scholarships funded by the Sulentic Family Foundation, and a top student-athlete has earned the $5,000 Eric Louis Brown Scholarship. Also, the Superintendent’s Scholar with the top GPA will receive an additional $1,500 scholarship from the family of the late trustee Joe May.

    These talented scholars will be recognized and celebrated at a ceremony on April 18 at Emmett Conrad High School, 7502 Fair Oaks Ave.

    The Sulentic Scholars are:

    Shyane Banuelos from Bryan Adams High School
    Elsy Morales from H. Grady Spruce High School
    Lisbet Tudon Velazquez from Hillcrest High School

    The Eric Louis Brown Scholarship recipient is:

    Aryan Lynn Davis from the School of Science and Engineering

    The Superintendent’s Scholarship recipients are:
