The Dallas ISD Scholars recognition program honored stellar students for academic achievement on Thursday, March 30, at Ellis Davis Field House.

The program recognizes students in grades 7-12 who have demonstrated academic excellence and college readiness potential. Not only will this program support students in their pursuit of National Merit® Scholarships, it will also provide resources and opportunities that promote academic and social success.

To be named a Dallas ISD Scholar, a student must have:
• STAAR score in the 95th percentile or higher for 7th- through 10th-graders
• College readiness level on the PSAT, SAT, or ACT exams for 10th- and 12th-graders
