Trustee Dan Micciche’s efforts in education began well before serving on the Board of Trustees.
Micciche spent several years leading a community partnership with James Fannin Elementary School and continues to drive his all-star District 3, which includes Northeast Dallas.
Micciche is a partner at the law firm of Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld. He has been recognized by D Magazine as one of the Best Lawyers in Dallas, by Texas Monthly as a “SuperLawyer,” and as one of the “Best Lawyers in America.” He has lived in Dallas since 1981, and has been a resident of Dallas ISD District 3 for more than 17 years.
Micciche currently serves on the Comptroller’s Tax Advisory Group under Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts Susan Combs, and previously served on the Comptroller’s Tax Advisory Groups under former Texas Comptrollers Carole Keeton Strayhorn and John Sharp. He is a frequent lecturer and speaker and has served on the faculty of numerous seminars.
